Almaty residents have been urged not to go to the mountains due to weather conditions, El.kz reports with reference to Almaty news.
Heavy rains are expected in the city, which can lead to dangerous situations.
"From September 26 to 27, in the Almaty mountainous areas, the increased slope and water level in the rivers are predicted," the Department of Emergency Situations warned.
