The 21st racket of the world Alexander Bublik took a successful start at the ATP-250 tournament in the capital of Qatar, El.kz reports citing Tennis Federation.
The Kazakh defeated Hungary's Marton Fucsovics (80 ATP) in the second round of the tournament, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4.
In the quarterfinals, Alexander will play with the strongest in the pair Hugo Grenier (France) - Alexei Popyrin (Australia).
