The first racket of Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik (number 23 of the ATP) played his first match at the ATP 500 singles tournament in Dubai (UAE), El.kz reports citing Sports.kz.
The Kazakhstani met with the Czech athlete Tomas Machac (65th racket of the world) and won in three sets with a total score of 2:6, 6:3, 7:6. The game lasted one hour and 59 minutes. The match was held at the stage of the 1/16 finals.
During the game, Bublik served seven times and made six double faults. The Kazakh tennis player also won 12 points and three games in a row.
