Agricultural projects worth 5 bln tenge implemented in Zhetysu region

At the end of last year, the number of large, small cattle and horses in the Zhetysu region increased by an average of 11%, respectively, the volume of meat and milk production increased, El.kz reports citing the press service of the akim of the Zhetysu region.

According to the regional department of economics and budget planning, in total, there are 74 feedlots for 29 thousand heads and 36 dairy farms for 8.2 thousand heads, as well as a poultry farm Koger LTD LLP for eggs with a capacity of 380 million eggs per year.

At the same time, last year 2 feedlots for 340 heads and 4 dairy farms for 2.6 thousand heads were created.

In general, in order to further develop the agro-industrial complex of the region until 2026, it is planned to implement 30 investment projects for a total of 66.3 billion tenge with the creation of over 600 new jobs.
