Agreement to hold Kazakhstan-Jordanian intergovernmental commission meeting reached in Amman
Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Talgat Shaldanbay met with the newly appointed Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of Jordan Yarub Al-Qudah, El.kz cites MFA.
The Ambassador informed about political and socio-economic reforms carried out in Kazakhstan under the leadership of the President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the meeting the collocutors discussed a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation, emphasizing the special importance of gradual development of the legal framework, transport and logistics infrastructure and stimulation of business contacts.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Qudah confirmed the readiness of the Jordanian side to hold the 5th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation in Amman on December this year (the 4th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Jordan Intergovernmental Commission was held on September, 2016 in Astana).
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their willingness to continue close cooperation and agreed to maintain working contacts.
