Adviser of Kazakh Minister of Tourism and Sports named

Dias Akhmetsharip was appointed the adviser to the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. At the ministry, he will coordinate PR and mass media relations, El.kz cites the ministry’s press service. 

He started his career at Qazaq Radiosy in 1997. Afterwards he worked at as a sports commentator at Khabar and Qazaqstan TV Channels.

He was the first director of QazSport TV Channel and then the Editor-in-Chief of Insport TV Channel.

Between 2003 and 2007 he headed the press service of the Kazakh Agency or Sports and Tourism. In 2012 he was designated as the adviser to the Chairman of the Agency.

Dias Akhmetsharip is renowned for covering key sports events in and outside of Kazakhstan, for instance, Olympic and Asian Games.
