Wiedergeburt Council of Germans celebrated Nauryz meiramy in the House of Friendship of Almaty. The guests and participants of the festive event were welcomed by the Chairman of the Council A. Dederer, who noted that Nauryz is one of the most favorite holidays of all the people of Kazakhstan. He also spoke about the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Wiedergeburt’s Association this year.   

Within the framework of the event, a film about the history of formation of the society "Wiedergeburt" was shown, a small spring concert of songs and poems in German, Kazakh and Russian languages was held.

At the end of the festival the guests were treated to a festive dastarhan with Kazakh baursaks and German cuisine (pie).
