273 companies with participation of UAE operate in Kazakhstan
Relations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates are developing in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust. "As of January 1, 2023, 273 companies with the participation of UAE legal entities operate in Kazakhstan, of which a significant share - 252 are small enterprises," the report said.
According to QazTrade, the total amount of UAE investments in Kazakhstani enterprises in January-September 2022 amounted to $ 146.6 million. Exports from Kazakhstan to the UAE amounted to $ 555.5 million, down by 8.0%, imports - $ 54.8 billion, showing an increase of 22.0%, compared to the same period in 2021.
"The main export goods from Kazakhstan to the UAE are: crude oil - $ 249.6 million (with a share of 44.9%), copper and copper cathodes - $ 235.3 million (42.4%), lamb or goat meat - $ 12.2 million (2.2%), hot-rolled flat steel - 10.5 million (1.9%), other ferrous metal products - $ 8.2 million. (1.5%)," the press service said.
The export potential of Kazakhstan to the UAE for 100 types of goods is estimated at $ 336.5 million.
