At the "Orda" training ground in the Shymkent garrison, the annual qualification trials for the right to wear the maroon beret, one of the most prestigious symbols of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan took place.
The maroon beret is not just part of the uniform, but a symbol of strength of spirit, and professional mastery.
This year, 72 servicemen took part in the qualification tests. The trials were held in two stages and included assessments of physical endurance, combat and tactical skills, psychological resilience, and readiness to operate under the most challenging conditions.
