240 babies born in Kazakhstan on New Year's Eve

On New Year's Eve, 240 babies, of them 125 boys and 115 girls were born in maternity hospitals of the republic, including one pair of twins, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The largest number of newborns on a festive night was registered in the Turkestan region - 44 children, in second place - the Atyrau region, where 29 children were born and in Almaty 28 families celebrated the replenishment.

In the capital of the republic on New Year's Eve, 17 babies were born.
