The young author, who began creating at the age of 10, has already gifted the world nine fairy tales in which ecology intertwines with adventure. The brave children and teenager plant trees, battle polluters, and uncover the secrets of a sustainable future.

“ At this moment I have nine books, and each of them is dedicated to a specific theme. I added various eco-tasks: you can draw, complete small exercises, so that reading becomes more engaging. I wanted children not just to read, but to feel like participants in the story. We worked on this collection for two years. Creating illustrations for one book takes about two weeks,” Platon shares.

Each book is not only a story but also includes eco-tasks that inspire readers to become active defenders of the planet. Platon creates together with his mother, uses AI to produce illustrations, and sometimes reworks them by hand.

Among the guests were also the celebrities. Olympic champion Olga Rypakova noted the changes in the younger generation.

“Children today are completely different. If we compare them to the generation I grew up in, or even to the generation of my older daughter, who is now 21, these are different children—and that truly makes me happy. Yes, they need a different approach to upbringing and education, but I see that modern children have a very clear understanding of what they need for life. They have become more confident and goal-oriented. Our main task today is to help them: to support, guide, show them the opportunities the modern world offers, and let them follow the path they choose themselves.”

The official representative of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy, Assel Serikpayeva, emphasized the power of a child’s perspective on the adult world.

“I have three children, and we often go fishing and spend time outdoors. We arrive—and first we have to spend almost an hour cleaning up trash. And it wasn’t left by children, but by adults. Then my son asks me: why does the older generation behave like this? Children constantly see videos about pollution of the planet, the oceans, the seas—and after watching all this, they ask such questions. Everything starts with us. We set the example. In this sense, Platon is doing a great job: he helps people see things differently. Everything begins with something simple—with the ability to love and protect the environment.”

Platon has also developed a bot that teaches care for nature through fairy tales and games, fostering environmental awareness. The bot features eco-themed audio stories, audio guides and quests along natural routes, as well as a carbon footprint calculator.
