1000 schools in small towns and villages of Kazakhstan to modernize by 2025

It is planned to modernize another 1000 schools by 2025. This initiative is being implemented as part of the election program of the Head of State, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of modernization is to reduce quality gap of education between urban and rural schools through the creation of favorable comfortable conditions for the education and upbringing of children, strengthening material and technical equipment.

Equipping with subject rooms, updating school furniture, improving libraries, canteens and security conditions are planned

- In the 2024-2025 academic year, it is planned to purchase almost 1000 modern subject classrooms for robotics, chemistry, biology, physics and STEM. Modernization of libraries of 757 schools, canteens of 481 schools, as well as capital and current repairs of 712 schools, renewal of furniture in 574 schools of the country. In total, according to the results of the work carried out, it is planned to improve the learning conditions of more than 366 thousand students, the report says
