Kazakh tennis player Yulia Putintseva climbed four spots up the WTA Rankings to land the 25th line, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
At the start of the WTA 500 tournament in Adelaide (#AdelaideTennis), Putintseva defeated the 19th racket of the world Donna Vekic with a score of 6:2, 6:3.
The next opponent of the Kazakh will be either Danielle Collins (USA) who is ranked 11th in the ranking, or the representative of Ons Jabeur (Tunisia) who is in the 40th position.
