YOUNG LEADERS FORUM WAS HELD IN BISHKEK

Kyrgyz-Kazakh Forum of young leaders was held in Bishkek.

The forum was organized by Diplomatic club of Astana and Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports under the government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by the heads of national youth organizations. The delegation of the youth movement of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan ‘Zhangyru zholy’ was represented by Deputy Chairman of the movement – Chairman of ‘Zharasym’ RYM at APK Timur Jumurbayev and entrepreneur Farangiz Akhmetova. 

A working meeting with the leadership of the Assembly of people of Kyrgyzstan was held within the framework of the forum. On behalf of the organization Acting Chairperson Zukhra Shidakova delivered speech. She noted that the assemblies of the two nations have traditionally friendly relations, emphasizing the special role of youth organizations in the context of establishing good-neighborly and mutually beneficial relations.

In turn, Timur Jumurbayev thanked the host country for the meeting and the attention and covered the main directions of cooperation between youth organizations of two brotherly countries, and also spoke about the work and main projects of the Republican youth movement of APK ‘Zhangyru zholy’.

During the visit, there was a meeting with the Chairman of Association of Kazakhs of Kyrgyzstan,  Zhogorku Kenesh Deputy Gulshat Assylbayeva. Today, the ethno-cultural association of Kazakhs is engaged in the preservation and development of national culture in Kyrgyzstan. The country is home to more than 35,000 ethnic Kazakhs, who are an integral part of the people of Kyrgyzstan.

Next year, the association plans to conduct tourist trips to historical places of residence, as well as organize joint activities with the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan in the field of youth policy. Gulshat Kadyrovna presented the office of the Kazakh ethnic community and told about the work of the association in detail.

Then the delegation visited the children's art school No. 4 in Bishkek. Within the walls of this institution much attention is paid to the development and preservation of folk art. Music and dance folk groups created on the basis of the school take part in major international competitions and festivals. The event was attended by Director of the National Delphic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuralay Tusspekova. Director of the School of Arts Tatiana Massiyevskaya acquainted the guests with the work of the school.

Kazakh delegation also laid flowers at the bust of the military pilot, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Talgat Bigeldinov. The leader of the youth wing of the Association of Kazakhs in Kyrgyzstan Nursultan Beishebayev said that today the work on the preparation for the publication of a book about the outstanding son of the Kazakh people – the hero Bigeldinov, who spent his young years in Bishkek is being held.
