Young boxers of the Turkestan region win 6 medals at Asian Championship

Recently, the capital of Kazakhstan hosted the Asian Boxing Championship among juniors. Representatives of 23 states took part in the competition, El.kz reports with reference to the akimat of the Turkestan region.

Seven athletes of the Turkestan region defended the honor of the country as part of the national team. In total, they won four gold, one silver and one bronze medals.

Talented athletes returned to their native region. Bakhtiyar Anarbay defeated all his rivals in the 60 kg age category, and in the 63.5 kg weight category, no one could compare with Torekhan Sabyrkhan. He became the best boxer of the Asian Championship.

Two gold medals were put into the country's piggy bank by Shugyla Nalibay (75 kg) and Ulzhan Sarsenbek (57 kg). In the 46 kg category, the silver medal was won by Aiym Tankibayeva, in the 66 kg category - by Aisulu Mukhit.

The winning athletes were met by the team of the specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve No. 5 of the Turkestan region, friends and fans and presented them with flowers.

6 medals were brought by young boxers of the Turkestan region from the Asian Championship
