- From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate everyone on the opening of the 21st meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. This initiative has become an important platform for inter-civilizational dialogue in a short period of time, proving its relevance. The Forum has always contributed to the strengthening of friendship and harmony between religions, the solution of acute problems of all mankind and the promotion of tolerance.
As part of the meetings, spiritual leaders from all over the world discussed topical issues that concerned the world community, sharing their thoughts on preserving peace and promoting mutual respect. Today, the geopolitical situation is deteriorating, and various threats are intensifying.
In these difficult times, the importance of the principles of humanity, mercy, brotherhood and responsibility is increasing. Also, the formation of a new system of international security is becoming an important issue. This requires a global movement that calls for peace. At the same time, religions play an important role. Spiritual leaders make a great contribution to solving these problems. For this purpose, a meeting of the Congress of the Secretariat is organized. Kazakhstan has always supported interreligious and interfaith cooperation. I wish all the participants of the 21st meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions fruitful work, the congratulatory message says.
