During his visit, he reviewed the National Sports University — one of the largest infrastructure projects in the country’s sports sector.
According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the modern campus is being built as part of the President’s instructions and is expected to open its doors to students by the end of the year.
The university aims to become not just an educational institution but a full-fledged center for sports science, medicine, and athlete training.
The university will include a research center, a medical and wellness complex, a stadium, an Olympic-size swimming pool, an indoor athletics arena, a college, a dormitory for 1,000 students, and housing for faculty members.
Witold Bańka noted the high level of organization and expressed confidence that the National Sports University would soon become an international hub for training professionals who will contribute to the global development of sports.
