Vietnamese airline VietJet Air from October 25, 2022 will start operating regular passenger flights on the route Almaty - Nha Trang with a frequency of 2 flights per week (Wednesday, Saturday) on aircraft of type A-330. In addition, VietJet Air plans to start operating flights on the Astana-Nha Trang route from December 25, 2022 with a frequency of 2 flights per week (Monday, Thursday) on A-330 type aircraft.
At the same time, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee Talgat Lastaev and the Vice-President of the Vietnamese airline VietJet Air, Mr. Chu Viet Tsuong. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of air traffic between Kazakhstan and Vietnam. The Kazakh side expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in launching and increasing VietJet Air flights to Kazakhstan.
