Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritage
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Friday warned of an «unprecedented global hunger crisis,» saying next year could be worse, El.kz reports according to Anadolu Agency.
«This year's food access issues could become next year's global food shortage. No country will be immune to the social and economic repercussions of such a catastrophe,» he said
Guterres said fertilizers and energy prices rose in the past year, which he said would impact all harvests including rice and corn. It is feared to affect billions of people across Asia, Africa and the Americas.
UN Secretary-General also informed that the UN is working on a deal that will allow Ukraine to export food, including through the Black Sea, and will allow Russia to supply food and fertilizer to world markets without restrictions.
