During the forum, representatives of other ethnic minors and ethno-cultural associations, who speak the state language, answer a number of questions and share experiences. In particular, they told how they learned the Kazakh language and what should be done in order to increase the expand of Kazakh language. The participants of the event expressed their suggestions in the form of an open platform.

In the welcoming speech, Zhanseit Tuimebayev cited the words by Nursultan Nazarbayev, First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan ‘Kazakh should become the language of peace that unites everyone’.

'In State of the Nation Address, Head of State noted that the role of the Kazakh as the state language will be strengthened and will become multicultural. As you know, to achieve such a level, we should put our efforts.

More than one hundred representatives of different ethnicities, who speak the Kazakh language and contribute to the development of the state language, came to the forum from all the regions of our country,’ Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan told the audience.

Also Zhanseit Tuimebayev said that according to the State Plan, 95% of Kazakhstanis should speak the Kazakh language by 2025.

In this regard, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, which unites more than 130 nationalities, aims to show clear evidence to what extent these objectives have been realized.

‘According to official data, in 2018, the share of the population who speak the state language was about 86%, more than 35% of those are representatives of other nationalities.

In particular, if you look at today's participants, there are more representatives of Slavic peoples than from Turkic-speaking origin.

We can see that representatives of Russian, Ukrainian, German, Belarusian, Polish, Latvian and other nationalities speak the Kazakh language very well. It's a very welcoming situation and indicator,’ Zhanseit Tuimebayev added.

Deputy Chairman also cited the quote by Nursultan Nazarbayev, Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, that ‘the core of any state is its unique state language. I want to express my sincere gratitude to those who study and learn the Kazakh language. I am grateful to parents who teach their children in the state language of their homeland. It means our unique citizenship."

‘In this regard, on behalf of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I want to thank all citizens who speak the state language in their native language’ Zhanseit Tuimebayev concluded
