Ulttyq Ónim exhibition of Kazakh manufacturers started in Almaty

The annual exhibition of goods of domestic manufacturers has begun in Almaty. More than 300 Kazakh companies, including 30 Almaty companies, will present their products, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Almaty akimat.

As the head of the city Yerbolat Dossaev noted at the opening, Almaty is a city of entrepreneurs and provides almost a fifth of the country's economy and a quarter of the republican budget revenues.

"Today, small and medium-sized businesses form 57.5% of the urban economy, providing 87% of urban employment. Every third employee has his own business," said the head of the city.

The exhibition will be held in the 11th pavilion of the Atakent Exhibition Center from 5 to 7 May.
