Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ilyas Ospanov announced this at the site of the international exhibition "Innoprom-2023" during a round table on industrial cooperation of the SCO member states, El.kz news agency reports.
This exhibition has become a place where thousands of manufacturers and business representatives from different countries can exchange experiences, initiate a dialogue and conclude important agreements. Here, companies demonstrate their advanced developments, offer innovative solutions and create partnerships that contribute to the development of the industrial sector," said Ilyas Ospanov.
According to him, Kazakhstan is actively developing trade and economic relations with the SCO countries and achieving significant results in the field of trade in industrial goods. Thus, the total trade turnover over the past year between Kazakhstan and the SCO countries increased by 19%.
The growth of trade in industrial goods between Kazakhstan and the SCO countries is a vivid example of the fact that industrial cooperation between states leads to mutual benefits and the development of the economic potential of the region. The SCO is one of the priority areas of international cooperation for our country. As part of the upcoming chairmanship of the SCO, Kazakhstan has developed a draft Strategy for the Economic Development of the SCO until 2030, which is designed to expand the SCO agenda in the most promising areas of our cooperation and is aimed at specific actions, he said.
