Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Latvia Dauren Karipov met with Deputy State Secretary – Political Director Ivars Lasis at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, El.kz cites MFA.
The parties discussed topical issues of Kazakh-Latvian relations, including the implementation of the agreements reached, as well as exchanged views on further steps to deepen bilateral cooperation. In the context of the upcoming 79th UN General Assembly, they paid special attention to the issues of interaction between Kazakhstan and Latvia in the international arena.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan also familiarized the Latvian diplomat with the key provisions of the State of the Nation Address of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev “Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Social Optimism.”
