Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageA formal award ceremony was held in the capital to honor specialists who have contributed to improving the environmental situation and developing nature conservation projects. The event took place at the Saryarka district akimat building and was timed to coincide with World Environment Day and Ecologist Day, El.kz reports citing the official website of the Astana Akimat.
Ecologists thanked for their contribution to the city's development
The meeting was organized by the Astana Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management. During the event, participants discussed topical environmental issues as well as the ongoing work in the country to protect the environment.
Special words of gratitude were expressed to industry specialists and veterans who have dedicated many years to nature conservation, greening, and improving the capital's environmental conditions.
Specialists and industry veterans receive awards
The ceremony recognized ecologists, employees of specialized organizations, and veterans who have made significant contributions to the development of environmental activities.
One of the main awards, the "Excellent Worker in the Environmental Sphere" medal, was awarded to the Akim of Nura district, Rishat Turdybekov. The award was presented by Daulet Doskulov, Head of the Astana Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Management.
Other specialists working in the environmental sector were also presented with awards of various levels.
Nature conservation work to continue
At the conclusion of the meeting, the organizers thanked all residents and participating in environmental initiatives and nature conservation projects.
It was noted that work on environmental conservation, the development of the capital's green belt, and the implementation of the "Taza Qazaqstan" (Clean Kazakhstan) program will continue.
Following the official part of the ceremony, a festive concert program was organized for the participants.
