The Head of State got acquainted with the new building of the Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise of the Medical Center of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was put into operation this year.
The center has been operating since 2004 and conducts research of environmental objects, food products for bacteriological, molecular-genetic, parasitological, sanitary-chemical and toxicological indicators and radiation monitoring.
The President was shown laboratories that use modern high-precision equipment and the latest methods that allow obtaining timely and reliable results in a short time. In addition to modern analyzers, the Center uses portable laboratory equipment with express methods that do not require the use of aggressive chemical reagents. This allows you to reduce research time and financial costs.
According to the head of the Medical Center, Alexei Tsoi, there are 8 laboratories here. In the near future, it is planned to expand the range of studies to 2000 indicators.
The introduction of international standards of quality and competence will provide an opportunity for the Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Expertise to become a Reference Laboratory, which will check the accuracy and reliability of studies.
Having inspected the building, the President expressed gratitude to the employees of the Center for a responsible approach to the performance of their duties and expressed confidence that the new facility will serve for the benefit of the country.
The Head of State stressed the strategic importance of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administrative Department in ensuring public healthcare.
