The Head of State took part in the expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.
The meeting focused on current issues related to the development of trade and economic cooperation with key EAEU partners, as well as prospects for further collaboration in critical areas such as industry, transport and logistics, agriculture, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
During the session, President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian (via video message), President of Cuba Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and First Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Uchral Nyam-Osor addressed the participants.
Next year, the chairmanship of the SEEC will pass to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the meeting, a number of documents were signed, including agreements on trade with Mongolia and economic partnership with the United Arab Emirates.
