The Head of State, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, congratulated Sadyr Japarov on the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Allied Relations between the two countries, El.kz cites Akorda.
The 2003 agreement marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations, laid a solid legal basis for the effective promotion of our multifaceted interstate relations. This is evidenced by the active political dialogue at all levels, the dynamic development of cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as close cooperation between the two countries in the international arena, the telegram says.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that joint efforts will ensure further strengthening of strategic partnership and alliance, as well as realize the huge potential of bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
