Tokayev receives UEFA President

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin, El.kz  reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.

The Head of State expressed gratitude  for the support of UEFA for Kazakhstan. President Tokayev noted that this sport is widely popular among citizens.

The President stressed the need to form a sustainable market model in domestic football and improve the quality of club management.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also supported UEFA's initiatives aimed at development of young players and specialists within the framework of educational and exchange programs.

Aleksander Čeferin expressed readiness to further expand partnership with Kazakhstan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented Aleksander Čeferin with the Order of Dostyk II degree for his contribution to the development of sports in Kazakhstan.
