Tokayev meets with President of European Council

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On the sidelines of the Central Asia-European Union summit, the Head of our state met with President of the European Council Charles Michel.

Welcoming Charles Michel, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the priority nature of Kazakhstan's strategic partnership with the European Union.

Today, the EU is the leading trading partner and the largest investor in Kazakhstan's economy.

In turn, Charles Michel, highly appreciating the growing dynamics of cooperation between the European Union and Kazakhstan, noted the need for joint work to further develop cooperation. There was also an exchange of views on issues on the global and regional agenda
