Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Chairman of the EEC Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.
The parties discussed the current state of the Eurasian Economic Union and the prospects for its further development.
The President was also informed on the preparations for the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, scheduled on December 26 in St. Petersburg.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed the importance of strengthening integration processes, noting that the successful work of the EAEU contributes to stable economic growth in the region.
