Tokayev instructs to prevent domestic violence in Kazakhstan

As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted, at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, special attention should be paid to improving the effectiveness of work on the prevention of domestic violence, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

“I listened to the report. The approaches are correct, so this work must be continued. But the statistics are disappointing. Over the past two and a half years, domestic aggressors have committed 300 murders. To remedy this situation, comprehensive preventive work is needed. And here the main role is assigned to district police inspectors.

As practice shows, with the adoption of timely measures, most crimes committed on the basis of family and domestic conflicts can be avoided, which means saving someone's life and health.
