Tokayev has telephone conversation with Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian

The Head of State congratulated the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on his electoral victory and wished him every success in his responsible state office, El.kz cites Akorda.

During the talks, the sides confirmed mutual aspiration for further strengthening Kazakh-Iranian relations. The interlocutors discussed the current state and prospects of development of cooperation in trade and economic, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian spheres.   

They also exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda.
