Tokayev gives number of instructions to akims of regions and cities

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of instructions to the akims of regions and cities on the improvement and landscaping of territories, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.

The Head of State instructed the akims of regions and cities not affected by floods to launch a campaign to clean the streets, plant greenery and improve the territories of settlements as well as to put the roads in order.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of involving residents and volunteers in this work on a regular basis.

According to him, the activities of akims will be assessed by the appearance of settlements and public spaces.

In general, regional leaders should start introducing a culture of maintaining cities in a attractive state.
