TikTok cooperates with Kazakhstan in fight against illegal content

Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva in an interview to Qogam News noted the interaction with the TikTok platform in the removal of illegal content, El.kz reports.

The Ministry conducts monitoring of social networks. In case of detection of illegal materials, the department notifies the administration of the platforms and demands their removal.

We identified a huge amount of illegal content and demanded that TikTok remove it. I want to thank the TikTok team for the constructive dialogue and effective work. Over the past month and a half, 87% of the prohibited content we identified has been removed," Aida Balaeva said.
