TRAVELHUB Kazakhstan conference will be held in Astana on May 18-19, where they will discuss the development of IT technologies in tourism and hospitality in the CIS, El.kz reports.
The TRAVELHUB conference will be held in our country for the first time. The event was organized by Kazakh Tourism together with the Travel Startups community. The organizers note that the event will bring together industry professionals who will be interested in business development with the help of IT technologies.
The two-day business program will be divided into four main blocks depending on the market segment: TravelTech, HotelTech, TourismTech and Creative Industries.
In the TravelTech block, market leaders - online agencies, service providers and global technology providers - will tell about technologies in online travel, air and ground transport. Among them are Aviata, Aviasales, KTZ, Russian Railways, Amadeus, Sabre, My Agent, Yandex, etc. The HotelTech block consists of three panels, where issues of the state and trends of the hotel market, TravelTech in the hospitality industry and MICE tourism will be discussed.
The TourismTech block is devoted to market trends and technologies in the tourism industry. Kazakh Tourism, Profi.Travel, the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kamkor Foundation, and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan will make analytical reports and presentations of technological developments.
The use of technology for travel companies will be discussed in a panel discussion organized by the Kamkor Foundation, with the participation of leading travel agencies, tour operators and technology providers. The discussion will be attended by representatives of My Agent, Compass, FUN&SUN, Ratehawk, i'way, etc.
In the block of the Creative Industries program, which will be held on the second day of the conference, there will be three panel discussions on the following topics: prospects for the development of creative industries, creative clusters as drivers of destination development and the social effect of creative industries.
- Within the framework of these sessions, ambassadors of creative industries from Kazakh Tourism will be awarded. The ambassadors will be promising entrepreneurs, whom we recommend for the Forbes 30 under 30 nomination, Kazakh Tourism reports.
