“A strong and happy family is the main component of a harmonious society and a reliable support for the state.
Thanks to the example and influence of the closest people, such qualities of a person and citizen as patriotism and responsibility, integrity and respect for elders, diligence and the desire for self-improvement are brought up” the Head of State said.
He noted that it is surrounded by relatives that the foundation of the individual's worldview, based on high moral principles and humanistic ideals, is laid.
“Knowledge of one's roots and reverence for family traditions have always a special place in the self-consciousness of our people. And today they play an important role in the formation of a new quality of our nation. The task of the state and society is to create the most favorable conditions for strengthening the institution of the family and the comprehensive development of the younger generation, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized.
According to the President, the protection and support of motherhood and childhood is one of the main priorities of our policy.
“The parental community makes a huge contribution to the preservation and promotion of family values.
