The seminar was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, as well as head teachers, teachers and psychologists of multiethnic schools in the region, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
The event was organized in order to provide methodological and practical assistance to the heads and specialists of district, city, regional educational organizations.
Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Interethnic Relations of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galym Shoikin noted that strengthening interethnic relations is one of the main issues on the agenda and stressed the importance of instilling a sense of patriotism, tolerance, high culture and mutual respect in students.
The participants of the event exchanged views and discussed topical issues in the interethnic sphere.
The working trip of the delegation will continue in the Saryagash and Keles districts of the Turkestan region, where they will meet with representatives of the APK, ethno-cultural associations and residents of the district.
