Almaty served as the filming location for the popular travel show Hit And Miss Tour 4, which will air on Channel S and be featured in the Netflix catalog, El.kz reports citing the city administration.

From July 24 to 27, the show’s crew filmed episodes at iconic locations in and around the city. The show’s hosts are well-known stars of the Korean comedy scene: Kim Dae Hee, Kim Jun Ho, Jang Dong Min, Yoo Se Yoon, and Hong In Gyu.

The program follows a format where the cast travels through a new country, completing games and challenges — with the losers covering group expenses, adding unpredictability and humor to the storyline.

Filming took place in the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, near the Ascension Cathedral, at the Green Bazaar, Shymbulak, Kok Tobe, as well as at Charyn Canyon, and the Kolsai and Kaindy lakes.

The project was supported by the Almaty Tourism Bureau as part of its creative tourism development strategy. According to the bureau’s head, Diyar Askarov, Almaty’s participation in international shows helps promote the city and the country as tourist destinations.

The premiere of Hit And Miss Tour 4 is scheduled for August 23 and 30, as well as September 6.
