Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposes to create SCO climate research center in Tashkent

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the SCO Plus meeting proposes to create an SCO climate research center in Tashkent, El.kz reports.

Earlier during his speech, Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that Uzbekistan has adopted a large program for the advanced development of green energy.

- We annually introduce about two gigawatts of solar and wind generation capacity. We have begun work on a project for the industrial production of "green" hydrogen.

We propose to develop a Comprehensive Cooperation Plan to stimulate the attraction of investments and technologies in renewable energy", Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

He also proposed to hold an annual international industrial exhibition EXPO SCO in our countries.
