The Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the People's Republic of China and the National Agrarian Research and Education Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of agricultural science and technology, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.
This step is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the countries of Central Asia, as well as developing exchanges within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
It should also be noted that the memorandum of cooperation will contribute to the development of mutual exchange of experience and knowledge between the Chinese Academy and NASEC. It will establish a basis for the exchange of research projects, joint seminars and conferences.
The Belt and Road Initiative is of strategic importance for Kazakhstan and China in terms of economic development and trade. The signing of the memorandum of cooperation between the Academy and NASEC reflects the readiness of both parties to deepen cooperation in agriculture and take an active part in this initiative.
Both countries plan to develop specific programs and projects for joint research and exchange of experience in the field of agricultural science and technology. They also intend to actively use their scientific resources to conduct joint research.
