Saudi Arabia to Host 2029 Asian Winter Games

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia officially received the flag of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), as the host of the 10th Asian Winter Games NEOM 2029, becoming the first country in West Asia to host this continental sporting event, El.kz cites spa.gov.sa.

The flag was presented to Saudi Arabia during the closing ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games, held today at the Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center, in the presence of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, officials and representatives from 45 Asian countries, and several global sports figures.

Minister of Sport, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and Head of the Saudi Delegation for the Games, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, received the Asian flag from Olympic Council of Asia Vice President Timothy Fok.
