The head of the International Football Federation (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, announced on his social networks that the final stage of the 2034 FIFA World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia, El.kz reports.
"Football unites the world like no other sport, and the FIFA World Cup is the perfect showcase for a message of unity and inclusion, and for how different cultures can come together, learn and understand each other better.
Living in an increasingly divided and aggressive world, we show once again that football, the world's leading sport, unites like nothing else. We all need these occasions for unity, and the upcoming World Cups provide a unique force for good in this respect," Gianni Infantino wrote.
