Salary of Kazakh educators and teachers increased by 25%

From January 1, 2023, the salaries of kindergarten teachers, teachers of schools and colleges and additional education increased by another 25%, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

On behalf of the Head of State, the salaries of teachers from January 2020 are increased annually by 25%. Thus, the salaries of teachers have now been doubled.

“Thanks to the support of the President, teachers' salaries are increased annually. In addition, surcharges have been established, which are also increasing. These are additional payments for the qualification category, for the master's degree, for conducting subjects in English, checking notebooks, classroom guidance, for work in conditions of updated content and mentoring. The increase in the salaries of teachers gives its results. ", – the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev said.
