Saiga Conservation Alliance in Samarkand noted Kazakhstan's significant role in restoring the saiga population

Within the framework of the fourteenth Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Migratory Species of Animals, held in Samarkand, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Saiga Conservation Alliance, established by the international community, noted the significant role of Kazakhstan in the restoration of saiga populations, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Deputy Head of the Western-Regional Branch of the RSE "Okhotzooprom" Kenzhakhmetov Talgat reported on measures to combat poaching and, as a representative of the branch team, received an award for the conservation of saiga from the hands of the Director of the Alliance, Dr. E.J. Kenzhakhmetov. Milner-Gulland.
