On March 17, Astana will host an expert discussion titled "Youth within the Framework of the New Constitutional Stage." The event is organized by the "Youth" Research Center under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The meeting will focus on the role of young people in the new stage of social development that has emerged following the national referendum. Participants will include representatives of youth organizations, experts, and members of public institutions.
The participants plan to examine how young Kazakhstanis perceive ongoing institutional changes, what social expectations are forming among the new generation, and what role youth can play in the development of civic culture.
Special attention will also be given to youth involvement in electoral processes and public participation practices, as well as to strengthening active citizenship among young people.
The meeting is expected to result in an exchange of views and a discussion of potential initiatives aimed at expanding youth participation in social processes.
Experts also intend to develop approaches for the youth agenda within the context of an evolving social and institutional environment.
The event is scheduled to take place on March 17 in Astana and will be held in both offline and online formats.
