REPUBLICAN MOTHERS’ COUNCIL OF APK DISCUSSED THE ISSUES OF STRENGTHENING THE INSTITUTION OF FAMILY AND MOTHERHOOD IN TALDYKORGAN

An extended meeting of the Republican Mothers’ Council of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan was held in Taldykorgan.

As part of the State of the Nation Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev Growing welfare of Kazakhstan: improving income and quality of life’ and the 10th anniversary of the House of friendship, an extended Republican Mothers’ Council of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan was held in Taldykorgan.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan of the Executive Office of the President of Kazakhstan Nazipa Shanai.

At the opening, the first Deputy akim of Almaty region Lazzat Turlashov made a welcoming speech.

The reports were heard on several areas. In particular, Deputy of Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan Natalia Zhumadildaeva spoke on the State of the Nation Address of President, professional mediator and teacher Bakhyt Tussupbekova covered the status of teachers, the role of state bodies in the protection of minors was discussed by Senior Assistant Prosecutor of Almaty region Azamat Bekeyev, chief expert of Ministry of Social Development of the RK, Nazigul Tokpayeva spoke to implement a comprehensive support of the family institution and to improve interagency coordination in Kazakhstan, writer, translator Kamal Alpeissova spoke about the problem of youth education and future of the gene pool.

Creative meetings with famous public figure, writer-ethnographer Zeynep Akhmetova and poet, writer, honored worker of Kazakhstan Saule Doszhan were organized here within the framework of the project ‘Kazaktanu’.

An exhibition of projects of regional and district Mothers’ Councils was presented in the hall of Languages palace.

Further work of a meeting continued in sections on the basis of I. Zhanssugurov ZhSU, House of friendship.

The meeting was attended by honored guests-public figures, writers, professional mediators, business coaches, well-known journalists, chairmen and active members of the Mothers’ Councils from 14 regions and 3 cities of the republic.
