Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritage
In Nur-Sultan, the Republican Main Mosque was opened, which became one of the largest mosques in the world. It was built in three years on the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The area of the land plot on which the mosque is located is 10 hectares. The total area is 68,062 square meters. The height of the large dome is 83.2 meters, the diameter is 62 meters. The mosque has four minarets. Its height is 130 meters.
In addition, in the underground floor of the mosque there is a banquet hall for 440 seats, a closed parking lot for 405 seats, a lobby, a latrine, a place for technical and funeral services, a place of sacrifice and other premises.
On the first and second floors, in addition to the place of prayer, there are classrooms, a conference hall, a wedding hall, a reading room of the Koran, a television studio, offices, shops, a museum and technical rooms.
