Rare Tien Shan brown bear caught on camera trap in Kolsai Lakes National Park

The wildlife camera trap caught rare Tien Shan brown bear,  El.kz reports citing the park's administration.

The animal is listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan and serves as an indicator of the ecological state of mountain ecosystems.

The fact that the Tian Shan bear regularly appears in the territory of the national park indicates the preservation of its natural habitat and the effectiveness of conservation measures being implemented.

According to park employees, such observations allow not only tracking the population and behavior of rare species but also responding timely to possible changes in the ecosystem.

Wildlife monitoring work in the Kolsai National Park continues, including the installation of new camera traps and the analysis of animal movement routes.
