Raid conducted in Astana to ensure cleanliness and public safety

As part of the Law and Order principle and the Taza Kazakhstan environmental campaign, a preventive raid was conducted in Astana in the area of the Presidential Park. The initiative was aimed at maintaining cleanliness in public spaces, promoting environmental awareness among residents, and ensuring public order, according to the official website of the city akimat.

During the raid, officers conducted awareness-raising activities among visitors on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public places, disposing of waste in designated bins, observing public order, and promoting responsible recreational practices.

In addition, measures were taken to prevent unauthorised street trading, warn citizens against swimming in unauthorised areas, and explain water safety rules.

Personnel of the Department of Emergency Situations patrolled the river area, monitoring compliance with water safety requirements.

The initiative was commented on by Azamat Kaldybayev, an inspector of the Environmental Division of the Sarayshyk District Police Department.

“The raid was conducted as part of the nationwide Taza Kazakhstan environmental campaign. During the operation, violations of landscaping and public amenity regulations were identified under Part 1 of Article 501 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offences. Administrative offence reports were subsequently drawn up,” he said.
