Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageThe opening of a modern Radiation Therapy Center at the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology in Almaty is a step towards improving the quality of oncological care and the availability of advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment for patients,El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The center is equipped with the latest radiation devices - including new generation linear accelerators and a computed tomography scanner.
Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova emphasized the importance of accuracy using the latest equipment, which generally increases the effectiveness of treatment of patients with malignant tumors.
There are 32 radiation equipment in the country, and 6 tomotherapy devices are also functioning.
